Each class is around 60 minutes and combines a warm-up, strength and fitness work, and a good stretch to finish. We’ll move through a mixture of exercises using weights, bodyweight and your surroundings, with options to make things easier or more challenging depending on what stage you are at in your journey, personal needs and how you're feeling that day. And because this is motherhood… expect a little chatting, laughing, the occasional baby interruption and moments where I forget words and can't add 2 and 2 together.

Once you have had your 6-8 week post partum check with your health care professional and are given the all clear to exercises. I would also recommend seeing a Women's Health Physiotherapist. But this is not a necessity to start.
Not at all. You don't have to be 'fit' to belong here. All abilities are welcome, and we will help you build strength safely and progressively, respecting the changes your body has been through.

Absolutely! Pregnant mums are welcome at R.I.S.E. If you’re already active and have been given the all clear to exercise, we can adapt exercises throughout your pregnancy to keep you moving safely and comfortably. Your body is changing, so what feels right for you might change from week to week and that’s completely normal! If you’re new to exercise, have any concerns, or have been advised to modify or avoid certain activities, please speak to your midwife or healthcare professional before joining.
If you sign up for once or twice a week and can't make your usual day, you are welcome to swap to another day within the same block. Unfortunately, if you are signed up for three times a week and miss a class, we cannot offer carry-overs or refunds for that missed session.
We live in the UK… so unfortunately, we can't promise sunshine! For outdoor classes, we'll do our best to work with the weather and find shelter where possible. If conditions are genuinely unsafe or a class needs to be cancelled, I'll let you know as soon as possible. Otherwise, grab your coat and let's get on with it!
Payment for the block is due via bank transfer before the term starts. If you choose to do a trial class and then sign up, the trial cost is deducted from your package.
If you sign up and change your mind 24 hours prior to the term starting, we will refund you. However, if you decide one week into the term that you no longer want to continue, we do not offer refunds.
